Chief David Lyon, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) on 6th November 2019, took his campaign train to parts of Ogbia local government area, where he canvassed for votes from the people.
The APC candidate visited Madam Eunice Ayi Ebele, the mother of former Nigeria’s president, Goodluck Jonathan, who prayed and endorsed his candidature for governor.
Hon. Robert Enogha, a former commissioner in Dickson’s government who recently decamped to the APC, called on the people of Ayama community and the entire Ogbia, to vote for the APC candidate.
According to him, “I cannot insult Dickson, but as one of those who engaged in the fasting and prayer he organised, it was revealed to me that the next governor of Bayelsa state would be one David who has been taking care of people in the bush, ”he had
likened David Lyon to the biblical David, ordained to be king over Israel, calling on them to ensure they vote for the APC on 16th November, 2019.
