Barely a week after his assumption of office as Ogun State commissioner of police (CP), Mr Imohimi Edgal has been redeployed to Akwa Ibom State.
Edgal will switch position with the newly posted Akwa Ibom police boss, CP Kenneth Ebrimson.
The posting was contained in a police signal dated November 22, which has also been confirmed by the authorities today.
Edgal has experienced some controversial postings in his career.
He was once demoted after emerging as the Commissioner of Police in Lagos and his rank was later restored. He was also engaged in a power tussle to remain in Lagos after CP Kayode Egbetokun was directed to take over from him.
