Former Kwara State governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has also condoled with the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari over the death of his mother, Alhaja Ayishat Nma Sulu-Gambari. Alhaji Ahmed, in a statement by his media aide, Dr. Muyideen Akorede described the death of the matriarch of the Gambari’s family as a loss not only to the respected Emir but also to the Muslim Ummah, the people of Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State as a whole. He urged the monarch to accept the death of Alhaja Ayishat as the will of Allah and noted that he should be consoled by the fact that the deceased lived a long, fulfilled and fruitful life that will remain a shining example worthy of emulation. ‘Our late Queen mother dispensed kindness and warmth to all regardless of their station in life, not minding her exalted position. May Allah forgive her shortcomings and elevate her among the favoured in Aljanah firdaus’, the former governor said.
