Communications Minister, Barrister Adebayo Shittu was recently embarrassed at the Ogbomoso home of the former governor of Oyo State, Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala when his host refused to show up to welcome him to his house.
The former governor was said to have been sleeping when Shittu and his entourage entered his Opadoyin Akala lodge. The minister waited for 30 minutes and when it was obvious that his guest was not ready to welcome him, he reluctantly left the place and told some of Akala’s aides who welcomed him that he would speak with him on phone.
An inside source told our reporter that the former governor came out 30 minutes later to meet one of his loyalists who returned to his camp.
