Alhaji Muazu Shehu Omar was turbaned as Emir of Kaiama in August 2010 during the Bukola Saraki administration.
The Emir who is a first class traditional ruler marked his 10th Coronation Anniversary on Saturday, 29 August 2020.
Political office holders and top faces in the state political circle were in Kaiama to honour the monarch and congratulate him.
The public figures also later attended the wedding ceremony of the Kaiama monarch’s daughter, Hafsat Muazu Omar.
Dignitaries at the event includes Etsu Patigi, Alhaji Ibrahim Umaru Bologi II and Etsu Tsaragi, Alhaji Abdullahi Aliyu Kpwotwa.
Speaker, Kwara state House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Yakubu Salihu Danladi, Senator Suleiman Sadiq Umar , Hon Saidu Baba Ahmed, Hon Halidu Abdullahi Danbaba, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Muhammad Saifuddeen, and the Commissioner for Energy, Hon Aliyu Kora Sabi were also there.
