A Nigerian versatile artiste, Elias Sunday Ogbu, a.k.a Ellyman, has dropped his latest song entitled ‘Got the Money’
The album listening parley took place last weekend in Lagos.
At the well-attended parley in Ikeja, Ellyman revealed that the song is one of many songs from his upcoming album, which he attributed to ‘a lot of hard work and patience.’
Ellyman, an indigene of Benue State, Nigeria, who is signed on IMO Records, started his music career about 20 years ago.
His major influence, according to him, was his parents, especially his mother, who led the choir in the church. Aside that, he said he devoted many years to listening to Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti’s rhythms and lyrics, which influenced his passion.

‘Got the Money’ is Ellyman’s second hit song and it was released alongside the video, shot by celebrity music video director, Unlimited LA.
The song is available online in major digital music download portal such as iTune and tooxclusive and on-air on major radio stations and cable TVs.
