A former special assistant to Dr. Kayode Fayemi, the APC governorship candidate in the Ekiti State July 14th, 2018 election, Hon. Anthonia Omonusi, has been picked as running mate to Otunba Segun Adewale, the Action Democratic Party (ADP), governorship candidate in the election.
Omonusi, a fomer staff of Omega Bank (now Keystone Bank), hails from Ekiti East and have both public and private sector experience, we gathered.
Omonusi served as Special Assistant to Ekiti Governor on Community Development in 2014. She also served as the Caretaker Secretary to Ekiti East Local Government in 2013 also as the Caretaker Chairperson, Ekiti East Local Government in 2012.
Omonusi was a member and chieftain of the APC until she joined the ADP with her supporters across Ekiti State.
Sources said that Omonusi was “carefully selected due to her vast grassroots mobilization experience.”
