Funeral service was however offered in honour of the deceased at Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Isegun District Headquarters, Odi Olowo Street, Awo Ekiti. Thereafter children, in-laws, family members, sympathizers and guests from both far and near besieged the residence of the departed to give him last respect whilst he was interred.

ABOUT THE DECEASED

The late clergyman, Olubusoye was born in Awo Ekiti in Irepodun/Ifelodun LGA of Ekiti State on 6th of August 1931 in Erewa-Quarters Awo-Ekiti.

He started his primary education at the Great Emmanuel Anglican Primary School, Awo Ekiti in January 1945. He later left for St. Stephen C.A.C Primary School, and also proceeded to St. Andrew C. A.C Primary School, Efon Alaye where he finally completed his primary education in 1956.

Between 1956-1962 he attended Academy Grammar School Macpherson, Sapele and subsequently left after successful completion of his WAEC in the year 1962. Records also showed that he was with Apostle Joseph Ayodele Babalola at Efon Alaaye the founder of CAC worldwide in active participation in evangelism and soul winning mission for God.

Consequently, he secured an appointment under Federal Government in the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, popularly called Federal Surveys in the year 1964 whilst in 1967 because of his exceptional brilliance he was selected among others to study and read Topographical Survey at the Federal School of Surveying, Oyo in Oyo State.

Pastor S.D.A. Olubusoye became a trained Surveyor in 1967 and was promoted and his name was published in Federal Government Gazette as a Chief Surveyor in 1967. To his credit, he was part of Federal Survey team that worked in mapping out Abuja and major roads in the northern parts of Nigeria in the 60s and 70s. He served the Federal government under the Federal Surveys for 25 years and worked in Ilorin, Kwara, Kaduna, Nasarawa and Jos.

As an active participant in the spiritual evolution of the Kingdom of God on earth, he left the Federal Civil Service for Theological Seminary where he obtained Advance Diploma in Theology. In 1988 he was ordained as a Pastor under C.A.C, the same year he was appointed as Principal Secretary to the C.A.C President Worldwide, late Pastor J.B. Orogun, several programmes and achievements were essentially recorded during his impactful tenure. While serving in the gospel Ministry he was also posted to various states in the Federation as District Superintendent and served meritoriously as a missionary and soldier of Christ.

Pa Olubusoye was remarkably known for fasting and praying with a burning passion for the gospel, a vision for Africa and a message for the world. He was a committed patriot, lover of truth, a symbol of integrity and moral icon with outstanding leadership qualities.

He continued to propagate the gospel even to his final moments, reminding people that salvation is only found through Jesus and bearing in mind that Jesus must be preached, the character of a believer is that he founds refuge in the secret place of the most high God. Heaven is man’s final resting place, his dwelling place. Here Pastor Shadrack Doyinlola Adedayo Olubusoye rests in the precious arm of Jesus Christ.

He was survived by Children, Grand Children, and great Grand Children. He was aged 88.
