Hip Hop act, Davido has instructed Lati to give Shoki Shitta the sum of one Million naira after he was seriously beaten up by fans of Wizkid.
According to reports, Shokki Shitta, who is a fan of Davido recently called out Wizkid for not giving them money (the reason for the money wasn’t stated). But went on to hail Davido in the same video, declaring his allegiance publicly to the IF singer.
Wednesday 8th of May, a video was released where Davido’s fan, Shokki Shitta was being harassed by someone in the video called ‘Eleniyan” and his boys who are all supporters of Wizkid.
Though incoherent, words from the video suggested that Shokki Shitta might have stalked Wizkid to his sister’s recently opened establishment in Surulere, an accusation that the fan repeatedly denied, saying Wizkid announced his location on Instastory.
The video that went viral showed Shoki Shitta rolling on the floor, crying and begging Wizkid to tell his boys to leave him alone. He went on to call Wizkid the boss and apologized for his earlier statements where he placed Davido above Wizkid.
In reacting to the issue, Davido who had made some funny comments on the post earlier on other people’s post on the issue decided to show his support by giving the allegedly beaten up fan the sum of 1 Million naira… a generous gesture people are presently criticizing, saying that he is buying fans with his money.
