The Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Award took place on Saturday, the 23rd of March and Davido lost his category, Favourite Global Music Star to American singer, Taylor Swift.
The category had other nominees such as BlackPink from Asia, Troye Sivan from Australia/New Zealand, Europe’s David Guetta, Taylor Swift from North America, J Balvin from Latin America and UK’s HRVY.
The nomination came to the singer after a successful 2018 that spilt over to 2019 which is getting Davido Massive airplay on international radio.
The singer also just completed a press tour in America to further promote his hit tracks, Fall and IF and while Davido did not win this, being nominated was at least good for something.
The Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Award was hosted by DJ Khaled.
