Peter Okoye aka Mr. P of defunct P-Square, has been sued by a group known as West Africa State League.
The group had accused Peter of collecting the sum of two million, eight hundred thousand naira to perform at its inauguration ceremony, held at Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba Delta, but he failed to show up.
Screenshots of the payments made and the court filing has been released by West Africa State League.
According to the statement released by the group, efforts have been made for a refund of the fee but Peter Okoye had refused to comply despite several warnings from their lawyer. The group which is a youth development organization said it was disappointed that Peter Okoye who it sees as an icon and role model to many youths would be involved in such act.
