BUA Group Donates Three Ambulance Buses To Kwara

Kwara state government’s anti-coronavirus efforts received a boost last week Friday following the donation of three ambulance buses to the state government by the BUA Group.
 
BUA Group is  a leading foods and  infrastructure company in the country.
 
Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq who commended the company for donating the ambulance buses to the state government, also acknowledged and appreciated earlier donation of 100 million naira by the company.
 
The governor who  recognized   the  Chairman of BUA Group, Alhaji Abdulsamad Rabiu    as biggest investor in the state also disclosed that the company which currently has  about 200 expatriate staff equally  has ongoing talks with the state government to break new grounds.
 
The governor urged other investors to follow the Abdulsamad Rabiu’s example.
 
‘I thank him for the 100 million naira he had earlier donated, I thank him for providing source of revenue for the state government,  I thank him for the future prospects and investments.
 
Others should follow his example and invest in Kwara’ he said.
 
Senior General Manager, BUA Group , Mr. Rasheed Olayiwola who presented the ambulance buses to the state government said it was done to support  Kwara state government’s anti-coronavirus efforts.
 
While stating  BUA Group’s status   as a principal stakeholder in Kwara state, he also noted that the donation was made in order to make it clear  that the company is socially responsible.
 
Rasheed said Alhaji Abdulsamad Rabiu  particular about Kwara state and that apart from giving attention to his investment activities  in the state, the wellbeing of the people of the state is also paramount in his mind
