Global Fleet Group chairman, Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim clocked 50 on Friday, 24th of February, 2017.
Unusually, there were no drumbeats and keen watchers of events, especially those who follow birth dates of celebrities were more than surprised because 50 is the golden age that likely needs special marking.
Yes, celebrating 50 is great fun and the Ondo State born business mogul was said to have planned to celebrate it big. But it happened that the planned shindig gave way as the businessman-turned-politician sets a new goal for the year ahead.
As this magazine gathered from an insider, Barrister lbrahim discarded the planned birthday bash and headed for his Master’s degree programme at the Cambridge University which coincided with his birth date.
In an SMS sent to his close friends and extracted by this reporter, Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim writes:
“I feel good to be 50 and I want to be kind from that day, this is my decision after examining everyday actions reflectively and reflexively.
