In keeping alive the legacies of the late Senator Buruji Kashamu, his nephew, and House of Representatives candidate for Ijebu Central Federal Constituency in the 2019 general election, Barrister Taiwo Shote (a.k.a PEPE) on Friday dazzled four chieftains of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State as he gave them four vehicles through the Omo Ilu Foundation – a non-governmental organisation floated by his uncle, the late Senator Buruji Kashamu.

The beneficiaries are Barrister Boladale Sanni, the acting State Chairman of the PDP in Ogun State; Hon. Mebude Olutola Rasaq (Ijebu Ode LG); Hon. Bola Odumosu (Odogbolu LG) and Comrade Ayo Ogunfowora (Ijebu North East LG).

The vehicles are Toyota Camry, Toyota Sequoia, Toyota Sienna and Honda Accord.

The excited beneficiaries were full of praises to God, Barrister Shote and the entire Kashamu family “for sustaining the legacies of our late boss and benefactor, the enigma called Senator Buruji Kashamu”.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Sanni said: “We are very delighted that in spite of the passage of our late boss, leader and benefactor, he has tutored and empowered worthy survivors like Barrister Shote to continue from where he stopped. That is an evidence of a successful leader. We thank God for his life and pray that the Almighty Allah will continue to grant him Aljanah Firdaus.

“And for those of us who survived him, we would remain committed to his politics of welfarism, empowerment and the greatest good for the greatest number of people. On this, we shall neither fail nor falter.”
