On Sunday morning, All Progressives Congress (APC) members in Alimosho local government area of Lagos State took to the streets to pronounce a leader of the party and minister of interior, Rauf Aregbesola, politically dead.

In a viral video shared on Twitter, the youths are seen carrying a mock coffin, while mourning Aregbesola’s political death.
The development followed Aregbesola’s fallout with his political godfather, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Alimosho is reputed as the largest local government in the state and has for long been considered Aregbesola’s political stronghold.
