Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has dismissed comparisons between his facial tattoos and those of his colleague Asake.
It’s worth noting that Asake drew mixed reactions after revealing his new facial tattoos in an Instagram post on Sunday, featuring dollar signs and the word “Believe,” among other designs.
Some people had made comparisons between the ‘Terminator’ singer’s new appearance and Portable’s, pointing to the similarity in their facial tattoos.
The singer took issue with the comparisons, expressing frustration and asserting that he bears a closer resemblance to American rapper Lil Wayne.
In a video message shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday, Portable angrily stated, “Hello ladies and gentlemen, stop comparing me to Asake. I don’t have facial look with him, it’s lil Wayne I look like. It’s Sony’s money. I’m spending not Empire, I’m the CEO of myself, it’s been long they spoiled my face and I’ve been disappointed for long, you people should stop comparing me with overrated artists, at least I’m the one you’re referring to as an underrated artist, see where I am now.”
