The Senior Pastor at the Omega Fire Ministries (OFM) worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has continued with plans to offer healing prayers against the dreaded Coronavirus pandemic challenging global existence.

In a social media message he released few hours ago, the acclaimed ‘Restoration Apostle’ declared that the special prayer tagged ‘World Miracle Service’ aimed to tackle the Covid-19 menace, begins in earnest on Tuesday 28th through Wednesday 29th, and comes to a close on Thursday 30th of April 2020.

Apostle Suleman had three days ago sought the Nigerian government’s permission to visit victims of Coronavirus patients at isolation centres and voluntarily offer healing prayers, affirming the scriptural message about faith that ”if there’s a man to pray, there’s a God to answer”.

Although, his voluntary offer sparked a wave of criticism from few quarters, especially, the Christian camp, the famous preacher insists there’s no going back on the three-day prayer targeted to assist ”all world leaders, presidents, governors and, mainly, Coronavirus-infected patients at various isolation centres across the world.”

Apostle Suleman, while on a prayer visit to the general hospital in Auchi, Edo State on Saturday to encourage the medical personnel who are frontliners in the fight against the Coronavirus and also to pray for the rapid eradication of the pandemic, disclosed that his resolve to continue with his plan for the special prayer was further reinforced by the support he received from leaders of the Muslim communities across Nigeria and beyond.

”Muslim leaders have even called me that they support me in faith and will be praying too for the healing of the world,” said Apostle Suleman who appeared surprised some fellow Christians were indifference to his genuine efforts at offering spiritual healing against the killer disease. ”I stand by my words. We are starting prayers from Tuesday and God will heal,” he declared.

Thus far, the global confirmed Coronavirus cases have reached over three million on Monday, with the United States of America nearing one million cases and Nigeria standing at 1,337 cases with 40 confirmed deaths.

Apostle Suleman’s free efforts, sources said, come as the cases remain on a frightening rise despite measures by many countries to eliminate the disease that has brought the world to a standstill over the past eight weeks.
