Akala and his unusual appearance at OBJ’s 80th birthday



At a time when some mischief makers thought he had gone into political exile, former governor of Oyo State, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, reappeared at the 80th birthday ceremony of former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo. The weeklong event, which was held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, Ogun State brought who-is-who in African continent, including Otunba Alao-Akala, under the same roof. The Ogbomoso-born politician, alongside other serving and former governors in Nigeria attended two days of the glamorous event. The former governor of Oyo State was hailed by political jobbers who still believe in his political ideology.
