Fast rising Nollywood filmmaker and actress, Kemi Adekomi, has been honoured at the 2021 edition of the Nigeria Achievers Awards.
At the 7th edition of the awards event, which held at the Excellence Hotel & Conference Centre, Lagos, Kemi shone like a million stars when she was named the ‘Best Supporting Actress’ of the year in the English category.
Kemi Adekomi went a step higher in her acting prowess when in 2020 she produced a film on police brutality in Nigeria titled ‘The Last Straw’.
The movie is the first of its kind in Nigeria done, according to the beautiful actress, to make the authorities understand the pains of Nigerians, which encouraged the 2020 #EndSars protest.
Adekomi has other great films to her credit produced from the stables of her Kemistrydiva Productions.
The Nigeria Achievers Awards seeks to inspire the next generation of Nigerians through the celebration of their great exploits.
