6 Kwara High Schools Get To Final Stage Of 2024 KW-IRS  Interschool Competition

The preliminary stages of the 2024 Tax Club Quiz competition (TCQC) organized for both public and private high schools in the State of Harmony every year by the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has ended and six schools are now left to participate in the final round.

Recall that the preliminary stages of the Competition held from June 24 to July 4, 2024, had 83 out of the 154 registered schools taking the quiz at the comfort of their respective schools while 12 schools qualified for the semi-final stage.

The revenue agency  said that 6 schools got to the final stage sequel to an online Computer -Based Test (CBT) with appropriate back-end monitoring by members of the KW-IRS Tax Club Advocacy Committee alongside the representative of the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Mrs. Roseline Ayansola between Tuesday, 8th and Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

‘The schools in question are Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Model College, Asa Dam; Government Secondary School, Lafiagi; Shepherd Secondary School, Lafiagi; Government Day Secondary School, Gaa-Akanbi; Kwara State College of Education Model Secondary School, Oro; and Anglican Boys’ Academy, Oro.

They will compete for the N2.5 million grand prize at the final stage of the competition, which is scheduled to hold in Ilorin on November 7, 2024′ KW-IRS said
