How do you feel adding another year?

Alhamulillahi on this special day of mine ,I just want to give thanks to the almighty God for the gift of life and happiness. I pray that he continues to bless me through out the year.

Tell us the success story of your fashion business.

I will attribute that to my Mom. Mom was into fashion and she attended fashion school in London and very popular among traders in Gbagi market in Ibadan. I started from university days where I bought goods back home to sell when we went to London for family summer.

What were the challenges you faced growing the business?

There were challenges along the way but I stood firmly and I give God the glory today. It was hard leaving home traveling all over European countries to suit the taste of numerous customers.

Why did you set up a foundation and what are your future plans?

I set up the Zainab Adedibu Foundation because giving is synonymous with the Adedibu family. We love caring for people. And I always want to give and serve the people. I had been in the make-up business. Later, I had to drop makeup to focus more on the Zainab Adedibu Foundation and politics because it has always been my dream to serve.

What really motivated your passion for service and charity?

When I came back to Nigeria in 2015 , I looked at the challenges of the people and felt touched. While growing up, I watched how Baba Adedibu gave out with joy and ever since it’s been on my mind to also serve when the opportunity arises. My Foundation was started in 2015 and was focused on children. I believe that every child is of infinite value and if children are given education they will indeed have a brighter future. I won’t mind people joining me as we build a better future for Africa’s future leaders. We are @zainabadedibufoundation on instagram.

What else do you do outside politics?

I have my personal business too aside the foundation and politics. I love blings, I love jewelry. So, I’m into a jewelry business. You can find us on @bodysignal on instagram. We give luxury at affordable prices.

Tell us about your last attempt at seeking public office.

Yes, I almost contested the last house of assembly election under PDP in Ibadan Southwest local government but for some reasons, I changed my plan. In 2023 In sha Allah, I would return to join my leader, Governor-elect Seyi Makinde to serve our people.

Yes my baby father Hon.Akeem Adeyemi contested from APC but back to the base we were both in PDP before game switch years but still I forever support him because he’s been an awesome father to our girl and he knows PDP is like a family party and the legacy of baba Adedibu lives on so we have to make him happy and proud!
