It is needless repeating that Nigerians were left heartbroken as the national team, Super Eagles, crashed out of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, following a 2-1 loss to Argentina in their final group D game of the on Tuesday, June 26.

Meanwhile, the national’s team’s fate had been foretold by a popular man of God, Primate Ayodele of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, who in a January 2018 media release, warned that Super Eagles wouldn’t perform well at World Cup. Ayodele’s prophecy happened months before a certain psycho pig called ‘Mystic Marcus’ reportedly predicted that the team would get to semi-finals in the match. The pig reportedly has a history of predicting winners.

Following the pig in toe, perhaps, was a certain Prophet Oladipo a.k.a. Ogunse, of Faith and Victory Church. Ogunse, in a national newspaper, had said that Nigeria’s performance at the World Cup would reach semi-final. The young cleric who claimed that he predicted President Muhammadu Buhari’s emergence in power, told the newspaper that he was sure it was God’s voice he heard revealing to him that the Super Eagles would get to semi-final. Unfortunately, though, the team crashed out before the game get to even quarter-final stage.

While speaking in January, Ayodele, who is widely regarded for accurate prophecies, noted that “no matter what the NFF President, Amaju Pinnick says, the Nigerian team is not ripe to win yet and thus they will not go far in World Cup 2018 tournament.”

Requested to speak on the pig’s and Oladipo’s predictions, Ayodele waxed philosophically, asking the interviewer in return if there were distinctions or not between human and animal.
