Gospel music impresario, Dr. Rotimi Onimole famously known as Oba Ara, has bagged yet a new award of success.

The Lagos born gospel lyricist was recently honoured with ‘Grand Commander of Gospel Music’.

The award organised by the prestigious Benny Group of Schools was conferred on Oba Ara after “several researches and scrutinies were conducted on the integrity of various Yoruba gospel singers.”

Oba Ara’s emergence as the winner of the GCGM Awards, according to the chief organiser, Barrister Ojuoluwa, was justified having carried out a proper survey to determine who the honour fits.
