Senator Ademola Adeleke who joined the list of the PDP guber aspirants a few days ago has begun to take steps that will lead to his emergence as Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola’s successor. The first task is to secure the party’s ticket and he has taken it upon himself to personally disseminate the message of his guber ambition to the PDP stakeholders in the state. The Senator in working for the translation of his political ambition into reality is set to hit the ground running by embarking on familiarization tour of the nine federal constituencies in the state. The three-day exercise will provide a platform for the guber hopeful to interact with Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary , Women Leader and the Youth Leader at each of the Wards in the state, others include Local Government PDP excos and ten party stalwarts from each of the local government councils. The tour of the nine federal constituencies begins today, 28th of April. Global Excellence was told by a member of the Senator’s media team that the late Ambassador Gunju Adesakin’s house will be the venue for the interactive session with party members in Ife Central, Ife East, Ife North and Ife South federal constituency today while Chief Francis Fadahunsi’s office in the Isokun area of Ilesha will be the destination for the invited members in Ilesha West, Ilesha East, Atakumosa West and Atakumosa East federal constituency. The town hall in Ijebu –Ijesha will record the presence of the party leaders in Obokun/ Oriade fedral constituency . The Senator’s team will move to the Osun Central the following day, 29th of April and begin the consultation exercise at Ile-Eja Baba Kolapo Lawal , Ila-Orangun with the stakeholders from Ila, Ifedayo, Boluwaduro federal constituency in attendance, the next port of call will be the party secretariat in Ikirun where the people from Odo-Otin, Ifelodun and Boripe local government areas will have one-on –one with Ademola Adeleke. Senator Ademola Adeleke will end his day two tour in Olorunda, Osogbo, Orolu and Irepodun local governments and the Osogbo residence of Dr Olu Alabi is the location for the parley. The final lap of the programme slated for the 30th of April will have the stakeholders in Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore and Ejigbo local councils converge on Ede City Town Hall while Isale Abata Tailor’s Hall in Ikire will be the venue for the meeting with party excos and top shots in Irewole/Isokan/Aiyedaade federal constituency. Iwo/ Aiyedire/Ola-Oluwa federal constituency are expected to gather in Iwo Town Hall for the programme arranged for an interface between the Senator, the party excos and the prominent leaders.
