The Golden Movie Ambassadors of Nigeria, Lagos State chapter and the Nigeria Police Force held a novelty match to celebrate the unity and peace between the two bodies.
The match which featured prominent movie stars like Aisha Abimbola, Kunle Afod, Saidi Balogun, to name a few was played against some top officers of the Nigeria Police Force.
Speaking with JustpyeTV on the development, a very excited Kunle Afod said, “using a football match to showcase these great players who some fans don’t even know are good in sports is the best way to herald the unity of film makers and the police.”
Saidi Balogun, the TGMAN president, corroborated Kunle’s statement saying, “The match was indeed a befitting way to announce the Golden Movie Ambassador of Nigeria to the world based on the passion held by diverse cultures for football. The Lagos Police PPRO, SP Dolapo Badmos led her team in the match which ended with 3-3.
