Alhaji Abdul Rahman Abdul Razaq  was the CPC guber candidate in the 2011 Kwara State governorship election  and he  is currently one of the PDP chieftains in the state. The Ilorin born businessman has joined others in sharing the moments of grief with the people of Offa following the bank robbery incident recorded in the town which claimed about 30 lives including policemen.

The top politician , however, urged the state government to provide necessary support to the state command of the Nigeria police. ‘It is with deep sorrow that l commiserate with the entire Nigeria Police Force, the Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi (Esuwoye II), indigenes of Offa  and the entire people of Kwara State on the heinous bank robbery attack in Offa town.

While we pray to Almighty God to bless the souls of the victims, we also pray that He grants the bereaved families the fortitude and the strength to bear the irreparable loss.  It is however, important to note that, the recent attack on Offa was not the first , I,  therefore urge the Kwara State government to emulate other states in Nigeria by providing effective and complementary support to the Nigerian Police Force in order to enhance security  in the state and protect the lives and property of the citizens’ he said.

Abdul Razaq  also  urged  the security agencies particularly, the Nigeria Police  to work towards bringing the perpetrators of the ugly act to justice in record time.
