The ruling party in Osun State, the APC had ahead of the 22nd September governorship election slated the primary that will lead to the emergence of its candidate for the 7th of July. The expectant 28 guber aspirants will have to, however, wait for 10 more days before knowing their fate. Global Excellence gathered that the primary was shifted to the 17th of July on Friday. We gathered that the postponement was effected to allow the party leaders make more consultations on the issue of who will fly the party’s ticket. Many, however, believed that the APC leaders may have resolved to back the candidature of the Chief of Staff, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola.
