A monitored poll analysed by some foreign economic technocrats has revealed that, the second coming of the incumbent president, Mohammadu Buhari would be the best to happen to Nigeria and the youths in general, if they (youths) ever had the intentions to rule.

According to the report, the time for the Nigerian youth to wrestle power from the sit-tight old politicians who have ruled the country from inception without significant benefits is now or never.

According to the poll, the chances of the Nigerian youths to grapple power from grey-haired politicians depend largely on how daring they can tap into the prospects of the forthcoming elections.

This is one election so many, a historic event that will make or mar the chances of getting the country back to its right of place amongst comity of nations, it poses to be a turning point only if politics of hate, tribalism and religious bigotry can be jettisoned for once.

The polls revealed further that, there are no better player amongst advertised old politicians at the moment, at least not anyone superior to the incumbent who’s a tested and trusted corruption warlord, but there are reasons his candidacy is far preferable to other aspiring jokers.

It is not in doubt that, the Nigerian youths have come of age, having come to the reality that their inactive participation and lackadaisical attitude to politics, for so long-a-time, have been the reasons grey-haired politicians have toyed with their future.

Unlike in the past when the youths stood akimbo while old politicians conjure their future on ouija boards, the next elections are not going to be a total work over, even though the likelihood of the youth smelling the power, for now, is bleak.

A vote for the incumbent would afford the next generation of politicians who’re obviously the youth, the opportunity to plan within the realm of the 4-year term that sees President Mohammadu Buhari off the mantle of leadership while an accord to recycle, yet another old brigade will set back the youth’s morale for another 2-term of 8 years if not even more.

It is instructive to remind the generality of Nigerian youths and by extension all votable class of the need for serious orientation, there’s a need for perceptional change amongst Nigerians.

The level of decadence in the society is alarming and rate of misconducts and lawbreaking attitudes have equally eaten deep like cankerworms, so an investment in attitudinal change and constructional beliefs are key factors to the new project Nigeria.
