Nollywood Actors, Top Celebrities Support Bola Adebayo “Walk Against Child Abuse” in Lagos
30th March was a remarkable day for Nollywood actress; BOLA ADEBAYO as friends, colleagues & media practitioners gathered to support her “Walk against child abuse with “SCARRED” to create public awareness for children on how to speak out when abused in our society.
The walk tagged; SCARRED AGAINST CHILD ABUSE commenced at exactly 10am from LTV8 compound, Agidingbi, Ikeja to Alausa secretariat and received by the Ministry of Youths & Social Development with a keynote address by the Director of Childs Protection; Mrs Bukayo Odukoya.
Mrs Bukayo made it known to all that; Lagos State is making all efforts to STOP the act of child abuse in our society and no abusers will go unpunished. She added that; the state government has provided series of welfare facilities for abused children to be properly taken care.
The Director commended the effort of the initiator (Bola Adebayo), the team and participants with advice to create more awareness to the general public.
Meanwhile; the initiator of the Walk against child abuse & producer of “SCARRED”, Ms BOLA ADEBAYO expressed her profound gratitude to everyone that came to show support and the Lagos State Ministry of Youths and Social development for their acceptance of the walk, as she promised to do more.
“SCARRED” movie premiere is scheduled for Sunday 9th April, 2017 at 10-Degrees Event Centre, Billingsway, Oregun, Ikeja by 2pm.
