Following the local government elections held on 18th of November leading to a new set of leaders at the third tier level of government in the state of harmony, the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Kwara State chapter now has new executives with the Chairman, Oyun local government, Joshua Omokanye as the new ALGON boss. Other members of the executive are Hon. Saka Mumini Eleyele (Moro), Vice -, Alhaji Abdulllahi Bata ( Kaiama,) Secretary; Alhaja Risikat Opakunle (Asa), Treasurer; Hon. Muyiwa Oladipo (Irepodun), Financial Secretary and Eng. Lar Abdulmumeen (Ilorin East), Public Relations Officer.
