Lai Muhammed hails from Oro, Irepodun Local Government, Kwara State and his Ward is Oro Ward ll. The ward Chairman is Bayo Kolawole.  Trouble started at the ward meeting when the minister’s Ramadan package of five bags of rice, 15 bags of semovita and three cartoons of milk were delivered to members for distribution. While Abiodun Ayodele and some of the excos insisted that the items should be distributed to members; some argued for the rejection of the package and it led to a serious argument that led to some members going physical. The members later staged a walk-out leaving those who stayed behind to merely stare at the items.  The factors that aided the rejection moves, according to a source was the information at the disposal of members that the minister had about a week ago sent eight bags of rice, 10 cartons of milk, 20 bags of semovita and 100bags of 1kg rice to members of the LAMCO and the KUF forums in the ward which had already been shared among the members.  The forums are those who had been with the minister from his days in the AD, CAN. The complaint was that the package sent was too small for distribution to all members.
