The Otunba Ganiyu Adams-led Odua Peoples Congress (OPC), in conjunction with the police have formed a strong team to combat the dreaded Badoo gang that has been terrorizing Ikorodu town in Lagos State for many months.
The collaborative effort of the police and OPC, we learnt, is fast yielding results, as it succeeded in raiding different hideouts of the deadly cult gang, arresting about 100 gang members in the process.
The raid, it was learnt, was a follow up to series of meetings the police authority had few days ago with the factional OPC commander, Gani Adams and his men, as well as with different local vigilante groups in the area.
According to the source, the recent attacks by the Badoo group, in which some lives were lost, compelled the police authority in the state to meet with the Adams team for partnership.
