As Muslims faithful from all walks of life prepare for the Ileya Festival coming up this week, People of Shaare, Ifelodun Local government in Kwara state would have Taye currency perform during the festival in the town.
In a statement issued out by the Host, Oke Agbonna Club 1 of Shaare, the club said, “This year’s celebration is coming in a different dimension with Apesin Ola, Taye currency on the band stand. The event will come up on the 4th day of Ileya at C.A.C event Centre, Shaare, Kwara state. We are calling on all Kwarans and others that are music lover to come and enjoy this great time with us as Taye Currency would thrill everybody with his music.”
Amongst the invited guest that would grace the occasion are the following; Alhaji Olamilekan Alabi, Personal Assistant to the governor of Kwara state on Politics, Barrister Suleiman Atolagbe, S.A to the government on Legal matters, Dr. Mustapha Ajibola as special guest of honour; mother of the day, Alhaja Nimotalahi Olohunlalaaro; chairman of the day, Hon. Kayode Adeyemi S.S.A government House, Alhaja Adijat Titilope Yusuf as Matron, Ganiyu Abiola as Patron, while His Royal Majesty, Oba Abubakar Garba Dosunmu, The Olupako of Shaare will be the Royal Father of the day.
Other programs lined up for the event is an evening event tagged ‘Night out’ that would come up on the 3rd day of Ileya with D.J Kelly on band stand. Others are fashion parade, dancing competition, awards and special recognition at the grand finale on the 4th day of festival.
