A show business group, CMC, has paid tributes to two of Nigeria’s entertainment personalities, Mr Tunde Kelani and Mrs Abiola Atanda a.k.a Madam Kofo.

A statement signed by the group’s media spokesman, Babatunde Odubanwo, reads;

“CMC celebrates Mr. Tunde Kelani at 70, a cinematographer and filmmaker of repute who established his indellible imprints on the Nigerian cinema sphere over 20 years with his debut movie- Ti Oluwa Nile and other enduring works of culturally linked and intellectually based works who still remains relevant, especially given his latest work titled SIDI ILUJINLE as a masterful interpretation of Professor Wole Soyinka’s The Lion and the Jewel.

Also, we honour Madam Kofo, a theatre practitioner, actress and fashionista par excellence. Her signature head gear style has ever since its creation, remained a wonder to behold and an inspiration for the thriving head gear tying scene. A mother, wife and idol to many, Madam Kofo, has in no small measure made her artful excellence felt both home and abroad.

One of the qualities that is synonymous with these living legends is their uncompromising standard.”

CMC founder, Ambassador Cornel Udofia, in his words, described Kelani and Madam Kofo as role models to him and that their immense contributions to the culture, arts and entertainment are unprecedented.
