Three top cabinet members of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government may be on their way out of office as stories are going viral over impeding cabinet reshuffle.

Global Excellence magazine learnt from authoritative sources that the President may drop some ministers and redeploy some anytime soon, in response to the yearnings of majority of Nigerians. Already, Global Excellence magazine gathered that that the looming shake-up has caused anxiety among members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC). Sources said that the reason for the shakeup is in line with the new fast-pace focus of the Buhari administration, as “some of the ministers cannot cope with the portfolios assigned to them.”

The three key ministers that may go with the ‘restructuring’, as sources put it, include a minister from the Southwest, one from the South South and the third from Middle Belt. While sources said that the Southwest ministers, a former governor, was already lobbying to swap one or two from his three portfolios against the plan to relieve him of his enormous tasks, opponents from his region are putting pressure on the President to drop him completely, while allegedly dangling “a 2019 card” to force President Buhari toward their wish. This minister was noted as one of the brightest of the Buhari government’s cabinet members if not the best. But Nigerians are feeling disappointed at his handling of his jobs especially one that has to do with their day-to-day affairs.

The South South born Minister, Global Excellence magazine learnt, was being pushed for sack allegedly by the foreign community. Although, he is very close to the president and also is a member of the inner caucus of the president’s party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), the push became necessary, according to sources, because of his controversial nature and alleged indictment for massive corruption while he was governor of his state for eight years.

The minister from the Midle Belt, a khaki boy, was recently voted Nigeria’s most incompetent minister in a poll organized by a popular social commentator. Since his being sworn in as Nigeria’s Sports Minister, the minister is said to have been in the news for the wrong reasons, one of which was his indictment for the crisis in his ministry which caused the government and Nigerians big embarrassment.

According to sources, outside these three ministers, there are other ministers listed to be drop soon.
