For the benefits of those who are not familiar with the happenings in Ogun political landscape, let us quickly educate you, Prince Adeniyi Adesanya popularly known as FOG is one of the top political strategists of Governor Ibikunle Amosun.
He has the ears of the Governor. And his longtime loyalty to the governor has earned him a membership of the Kitchen Cabinet. The strong bond between FOG and Governor Amosun dates back to their Crusader Days when Governor Amosun was still strategizing on how to actualize his political aspirations.
Not only was Prince Adesanya among the few close associates Governor Amosun first shared his political ambitions with. He was neck deep in the political arrangements – campaigns, social and spiritual that eventually earned Governor Amosun his senatorial success. We can report that, FOG was also a pillar of support in times of Amosun’s governorship struggle.
And when the erstwhile administration of former Governor Gbenga Daniel made moves to lure him over, we learnt FOG never succumbed to the whiff of money rather he stepped up his loyalty. He teamed up with Governor Amosun to end the political structure of OGD in Ogun State.

As a matter of fact, during the first tenure of Governor Amosun, FOG was given the sensitive portfolio of Special Adviser on Political Affairs, a responsibility he carried out brilliantly. He holds the record as the first politician in Ogun to donate his first salary as a personal appreciation to help launder the image of the governor.
FOG mobilized and hosted all the political groups in APC and the SIA followers at the Valley View in Abeokuta where he gave a total sum of N500k during the first tenure of Governor Amosun’s administration. Currently, he is a consultant to the state government. Also, another identity FOG shares with Governor Amosun is his signature tall cap.
And the story behind the famous Amosun cap is unknown to many.
According to FOG, that cap is the symbol of their political struggle. And he was one of the few people that came up with that style – the cap dictates top. The sharp object like style means sword and whoever plans to confront the will of God for Governor Amosun, that sword will bring the person down. FOG, who can best be described as an unrepentant Amosun loyalist has promised to launch the struggle cap soon to pass across the message behind it.
