It is no news that the officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on June 14th 2016, stormed the Ikoyi home of former Minister of State for Defence, Mr Musiliu Obanikoro and allegedly went away with some vehicles and other valuables.

Obanikoro was away in the United States of America when the EFCC visited.

However, one of the former minister’s sons, Babajide, has taken a jab at the anti-graft agency, probably for ‘eating their cake and still wanting to have it.’

Babajide who is also in the US at the moment, took to his Facebook page to lambast the agency for having the nerve to still invite him for investigation after raiding his home and ‘stealing’ cars and other treasured items.
In the terse statement, Babajide wrote; “After they illegally searched my house, stole my car and other things, they now invite me 4 days later for interview. I’m coming ooo, wait.”

The raid was coming on the heels of allegations by the EFCC that Sylvan McNamara Limited, a company allegedly owned by Obanikoro’s sons, Babajide and  Gbolahan, got part of the $2.1b arms fund under probe.
