The 12th edition of the all-embracing media event, Nigeria Media Nite-Out Awards (NMNA), is gathering momentum.
The organizers of the 2018 of the awards events are presently working towards achieving a successful outing as A-List personalities from various fields of endeavours are billed to attend.
Speaking on the preparations so far, the chief coordinator of NMNA, Mr. Sola Olugbemiro, said he is ‘happy to work with the 2018 team because they are very versatile in managing events of this nature, and that gives me the assurance that we can make this edition the best so far.’
Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, we gathered, will be the chief host of the event, while Governor Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa State is the guest speaker, with the theme, ‘The Role of Media in Ensuring Credible Elections and Maintenance of Good Governance’. Gov.Muhammad Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State, Gov. Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo of Gombe State, Gov. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike of Rivers State are among other dignitaries expected as special guests of the day.
Also, Senator Solomon Adeola; Hon. Toke Benson from Ikeja constituency, who is an aspirant for House of Reps in Ikeja; Rt. Hon. Abubakar Kusada, Speaker of Katsina House of Assembly; HIM Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, Ooni of Ife; Hon Isah Ashiru Kudan, Sarkin Bai Zauzau; Senator Shehu Sani; Rt. Hon. Bello Muhammed (Matawalle), among others will be on hand to support Governor Ambode.
The media event, we learnt, has been endorsed by notable corporate bodies like MTN, 7-Up, SIFAX, Zenith Bank etc. and others.
The 2018 edition of NMNA which cuts across all sectors of the industry for recognition of media-friendly personalities will take place on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at B-Event Hall of the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
