It was moment of glory for popular security analyst and diplomacy scholar, Wole-Madariola Olumide, as he was recently honoured with an award alongside the present Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris.
The event which held recently at the Lagos Sheraton Hotel was put together by Crimeworld Security Award to recognize prominent personalities that have contributed immensely to the security upliftment in Nigeria over the years.
The Isreal-trained weapon expert, Olumide, who was equally the guest lecturer at the event delivered a paper with the theme: ‘The Socio-Economic Impact of Kidnapping on Developing Nations – Nigeria A Case Study’.
He was later honoured with the ‘Special Recognition Award for Assistance to Security Agencies’ for his support over the years. Other Prominent Security personnel honoured at the events were former IGP, Mike Okiro and former IGP Solomon Arase.
