All is set for the 2nd conference put together by US based Africa Informer magazine, to further the cause of African and US women in general.
The conference and recognition platform is for outstanding women leaders, entrepreneurs, CEOs, government agencies, charity organizations and individuals in Africa to network with counterparts in the US and other parts of the world, in order to seek common grounds for fruitful socioeconomic collaborations.
Mrs. Atiku. whose NGO, WOTCLEF has been in the forefront in the war against human trafficking for the past 20 years is billed as the special guest of honour and special awardee as ‘Africa’s Most Outstanding Woman Leader 2018′.
A book titled ’18 Years of WOTCLEF; Fighting The Human Trafficking Scourge in Africa’, will also be launched at the two day event. The book chronicles the immense efforts of the gentle and amiable women leader in her bid to save humanity from itself, despite threats to life and high costs of keeping this initiative alive.
Top women entrepreneurs and leaders from Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Ethiopia and the United States are attending the annual women event.
