King of Fuji music, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, K1, has expressed his appreciation to all for their condolence messages to him following the death of one of his daughters, Olaronke Wasilat on Sunday.
The 34 years old died in Canada after an illness.
Friends and fans, associates including fellow Fuji musicians and those from other genres had been sending condolence messages to K1.
One of K1’s bosom friends, Bolaji Basia led the pack of friends who condoled with the “Oluaye” of Fuji music. Bolaji had written on his Facebook wall; “This is extremely painful to lose someone ,so precious to you at a very tender age of 34.Hmm,she’s supposed to be writing this about me not the other way round. Ever smiling, super pretty.’Haa eleyi po die Olorun. Sun ree Wasilat Olaronke Marshal.”.
Others are friends of the Fuji king, musicians such as Kolade Onanuga,Kabiyesi Olomide,Us based Akeem Adewale, Love Idris Adisa, Segun Opontisun and others.
Meanwhile, K1, who had been hosting friends and well-wishers for hours that fateful day, took time out of bed rest to express his appreciation to all.
“I thank you all for the uplifting words for my daughter and I. God bless you all,” he said.
