As the people of Ondo State welcomed in a new administration of Rotimi Akeredolu, Ikale sons and daughters living in Lagos have congratulated the new governor and promised their total support for the new administration. In a statement signed by the Association national working Committee President, Asiwaju Benson Akindeju; the association has put a call across to the new administration to fulfill all its electoral promises especially the restoration of electricity in Ikale land. The group in their submission also urged the Akeredolu led government to resuscitate some companies in Ikale land that have been abandoned by the past administration. The President in his word said; “There are companies in Ikale land that need resuscitation and completion. Cassava Processing Company founded by Agagu government needs to be completed, the resuscitation of Okitipupa Oil Palm Plc, rehabilitation of our road network and many more are projects we would be glad to see them back alive. With this, there would be job creation and youths in the area would be meaningfully engaged. Also, the issue of total darkness in Ikale land has been a major concern to every son and daughter of our dear land. We would be glad to see light back in Ikale. These and many more are what we crave for as this new administration commences his duties to the people of Ondo State. The President stressed further that this year’s annual Ikale night has been billed to take place in March as all sons and daughters of Ikale living in Lagos will come together to celebrate themselves and rejoice together. “As usual, we shall celebrate our people, those that have done well in their chosen fields.
